STORING GREEN CHILIES

I usually buy green chilies packed in a plastic cover . I bring it home and keep it as is in the fridge.

After a few days , it turns black and rotten. The below method keeps it fresh longer.

Method

• Gently pull out the stem(do not cut it with a knife) , of the chilies .

NOTES

• I wash the chilies just before using. If you choose to wash it before storing , pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
• Throw away any spoiled looking ones so that they don't spoil the rest.
• Use gloves if you can't stand the heat of the chilies , which will kick after some time .
