COOKING BASMATI RICE
- 2 cups basmati rice soaked in water for 20 minutes
- 10 cups water
- 3 and 1/2 tsp salt
METHOD
Cooking the rice
- When the rice begins to boil , turn off the stove and keep it covered for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes turn on the stove and bring to boil again. Add 3 and 1/2 tsp of salt. Turn off stove and keep covered for 2 more minutes.
- Now drain the rice. Keep aside.
