GOOD CARTOONS/TV PROGRAMS FOR KIDS

 

Your kids rely on you to pick quality cartoons/ TV programs for them. Invest your time, do your research, watch a few episodes and then decide whether its good for your kids. With a plethora of YouTube videos and TV series to choose from, be selective. Kids don't know how to choose, at a small age, you have to do that for them. Don't let them watch a cartoon just because the next door kids are watching it or because that's the most popular. Do your part, watch with them and at a small age when you help them pick good cartoons/programs, as they grow they will know how to select and watch, and not just watch any junk.

What I look for, in a good cartoon/TV program for kids are :

1. Good animation, something similar to the ones that I watched as a kid, think old style Tom & Jerry,

Mickey Mouse, Disney fairy tale movies that I watched like Snow White, Dumbo.

2. Good Narration, with the right pronunciation and grammar.

3. That teaches life lessons, mindfulness, science, family values, concepts.

4. That's short(10-15 minutes)

5. Good background music

6. Simple and easy to understand

In my search for a good and simple cartoon for my 4 year old son(years back!) , I came across this, Peep and the big wide world. It's very simple , with 3 main characters and very interesting to watch along with your kids . A good choice for your 4-6 year old's TV time .Don't forget to watch along with them😊
