MOCK OATS PAYASAM FOR BREAKFAST


This is my early morning breakfast .Very filling.

RECIPE
  1. 2 tbsp oats(I have used quick 1-minute oats)
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. Pinch cardamom powder
  4. Half of a banana
METHOD

  • Put milk and oats in a microwave safe bowl .Microwave for 3 and half minutes on power 4.
  • Wait for two minutes ,take out the bowl cut half a banana and sprinkle the cardamom powder. 
  • Ta-da! Payasam ready.(Using aromatics that remind you of sweet things , here in this case , cardamom powder is a way to trick your mind and perceive it as a sweet treat)


NOTES 
  • I usually have this first thing in the morning.
  • It can be flavored with cinnamon powder also.
  • Sliced apples can be used instead of banana.
