SESAMME BALLS FOR HAIR GROWTH?
Recently, I’ve noticed sesame balls gaining popularity on Instagram as a remedy for hair fall. Most of the reels I came across featured young women, so as a 47-year-old, I was initially unsure if this would work for me. Despite years of taking iron supplements, my hair fall persisted, so I decided to give sesame balls a try. To my surprise, it worked—my hair fall has noticeably reduced. While I can’t say for sure if this is just a short-term improvement, I am genuinely impressed by the results and wanted to share the recipe.
Disclosure: I am not a dietician or a doctor. I simply tried these sesame balls myself and found them effective for my hair fall. I’m sharing this recipe based on my personal experience.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/ 2 cup black sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup nuts( I used almonds, walnuts, pista, pecan)
- 2 dates
- 1/4 tsp salt
METHOD
- Roast the sesame seeds and nuts seperately.
- Let cool to lukewarm, pulse in the blender with salt and dates.
- Shape into balls.
NOTES
- I tried including nigella seeds in the above recipe and did not like the taste.
- This is a blank canvas, many recipes calls for pumpkin seeds, chia seeds etc. I am yet to try these.
- As with iron tablets, I try not to eat these balls with anything diary related.
