FRUIT SALAD
INGREDIENTS: These are my choice of fruits , all of them cut into small pieces so that the flavors mix in.
- 2 cups chopped pineapple
- 4 small oranges(around 2 cups) , peel removed , orange segments taken out into pieces
- 2 ethapazham(kerala plantain), chopped(no other variety can be substituted) OR 2 cups chopped apple
- 2 cups chopped ripe mango
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
METHOD
- Pineapple and orange juices helps keep the chopped apples and bananas from browning. So chop the juicy fruits first.
- Put the chopped pineapple into a bowl.
- Add sugar , vanilla essence to this . Stir and then add the chopped apples and mangoes. Stir well . Chill well in the refrigerator.
